In Conversation with Gaia
Monday 20th April 19h30 SAST
Many are experiencing this time of cloistering, as a rite of passage, an initiation. All initiations call for separation and a journey into the unknown, often one that challenges and brings to the surface that which can only be sensed in the in-between. A deep listening into what is being called forth. Otto Scharmer’s U theory describes this surrender of self to a moment without past or future, as presence; a deep listening, or communing with, and in, the vast field of intelligence that we are. In this Gaia’d conversation, Beth Jandernoa, a much loved friend and mentor who worked with Otto for many years, will join us in a presencing practice and dialogue exploring our selves as ‘of the earth’ not separate from it. ‘The natural world demands a response beyond scientific insight. The natural world demands a response that rises from the wild unconscious depths of the human soul’. Thomas Berry, ‘The Wild and the Sacred’ in The Great Work, p55.
